With a firm belief in the power and consequences of ideas, The Heritage Foundation's Lectures and Seminars Program provides a prominent forum for policymakers and key leaders to address the issues of the day. Our goal is to articulate, advocate and advance conservative public policies based on the principles of individual freedom, free enterprise, limited government, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. To further this objective, Heritage annually hosts more than 170 lectures, panel discussions or other educational programs in our Allison and Lehrman Auditoriums -- both of which offer live Internet viewer participation and are equipped for television broadcasts via C-SPAN and other major media networks.

Our events are directed to and attract broad audiences of policy analysts, Congressional staff, grassroots activists, international visitors, media representatives as well as individuals seeking a better understanding of current public policy issues and key debates. Both established and up-and-coming conservative leaders are invited to deliver important policy speeches or make presentations at Heritage.

Through our live Internet broadcast capabilities, Heritage programs are freely available to anyone, anywhere, at any time around the world. Our Event Archive offers a rich resource for repeat viewing and research assistance.

Many lectures and program presentations are published for distribution to the media, public policy groups and Heritage supporters. They are also posted at heritage.org.
