Greg D'Angelo is a Policy Analyst at The Heritage Foundation's Center for Health Policy Studies.
In this position, D'Angelo studies Medicare, prescription drug costs and health care tax credits, among other subjects.
He joined Heritage in 2006 as a Research Assistant, mostly examining the proposal to expand the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). Working with Heritage's Center for Data Analysis, D'Angelo found a key fact: Under the proposed expansion, for every 100 children covered under the government program between 50 and 60 kids would lose their private health insurance coverage.
Before coming to Heritage, D'Angelo was an intern at the American Enterprise Institute and at the John Locke Foundation in Raleigh, N.C.
D'Angelo is currently working toward his master's degree in applied economics, with a specialty in health economics, at the Johns Hopkins University. In 2005, he received his bachelor's degree in political science and public policy from Duke University.
